For the #Yakko-fanclub's Big Reveal Contest (Read it here -> [link])

FINALLY IT'S DONE!! :faint:

Good GOD did this take forever to think up. Wanted to think of something REALLY good for the contest, and after reading the rules every now and then, I was seriously stuck on the idea. Like MONTHS to finally come up with a concept.

Thank the Nostalgia Critic for suddenly giving me the light bulb over my head for this piece. Seriously don't know why I didn't come up with this sooner XP Stupid brain DX

Forgive me if the text/dialogue is bleh, but I'm not that creative when it comes to dialogue ^^;

Aside from that, I LOVE HOW THIS CAME OUT! 8D God it took forever to draw, ESPECIALLY THAT CHAIR, but in the end it turned out to be exactly what I pictured. So YAY FOR ACHIEVEMENT! :la:

I'm pretty sure that having Yakko dressing up as the Nostalgia Critic might be stretching it a bit much, but when you take away the sailor talk and the VERY crude humor, I can totally see Yakko being critical and funny at the same time. Why else would the show make cracks or spoof off shows and movies :XD:

Buuuuuut I gotta say that mostly the influence would have been from watching too many Nostalgia Critic episodes, Animaniacs, and of course this picture, [link]

So with that, I'm Sasfan15, I kill your childhood so that YOU don't have to :iconimhappyplz: Wish me luck on the contest~

TL;DR: Drew this for a contest. Took a long time to come up with, but am glad that I finally got it fucking done. Major influence from Nostalgia Critic. BE HAPPY!

Brushes ~Scully7491

Drawing was done by Yours truly~ :rose:

Yakko Warner, Animaniacs Tom Ruegger, Steven Spielberg, and WB studios

Nostalgia Critic Doug Walker and pretty much the whole 'That guy with the glasses' crew

Steal and die~ :iconhurrplz: :heart:

I love this, absolutely love how you colored this. I myself am a fan of 90's cartoons being I was actually born in the 90's 1990 to be exact.

Anyways I love the originality and impact it gives off. The words and colors flow nicely with the short but funny comic.

As for Vision and Technique you got the makings of a cleaver comedian and possible comic illustrator.

Whatever your dreams may be never give up on them. You are one talented, funny, individual. I hope to see more of your wonderful work very soon. Keep up the good work.

OH MY GOD THIS IS THE GREATEST ART I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE! There's this kid, named Yakko, and he plays THE NOSTALGIMA CRITIC! He's like, "HELLO-O-O NURSE! I REMEMBER IT SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO!" And there's this other kid, named Daniel Warner and he's like "HOW DARE YOU STEAL MY LIMELIGHT!" And there are these other kids, named Wakko and Dot, but they don't talk too much, so forget 'em. All in all, this is a great art.

This is Chester A. Bum saying, CHANGE! YA GOT CHANGE?! AW HELP A GUY OUT WILL YA? CHANGE! I'LL BUY ANIMANIACS VOLUME 4!

Seriously, you must at least know about the Critic's Animaniacs Tribute.

This is an awesome pic!!!!The joke is really funny to.But now that I start to think about....I really love Animaniacs......I hate to say this.....But Animaniacs would be a bad show today now that think about.The law has changed a lot over the years.So it would make a lot of the regular Animaniac jokes lame.I don't know....I guess i'm over thinking it...

I love your art style! You captured Yakko very well. :heart: I never would have thought to have him BE the Nostalgia Critic, even though it was the Nostalgia Critic who got me back into Animaniacs (I was only like four when it was first on, but I loved it--I didn't realize how awesome it truly was until about three years ago). XD
The paddleball was a nice touch. ^_^

:blushes: Thank you so much! :aww: Really glad to hear that I kept him in character because my god is it hard to do :XD: To be honest, it never really clicked until one of his reviews where he used some Animaniac clips :lol: *I think it was the Junior Review...baby Arnold WHY?!* And then I just started to imagine Yakko in there...with less swearing XD;;

Which made the idea perfect because of his tribute to Animaniacs and truly loved learning more interesting information behind the writers. So this was just screaming both inspiration and a tribute!

Oh man...I can't even remember what age I was when I watched Animaniacs. I actually give credit to my brother, because he was REALLY big on Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, and Batman the Animated Series. Only things I mostly remember were everyone else but the Warners. Yeah, I remember Drive Insane and Potty Emergency, but...that was pretty much it. XD;; Buttons and Mindy are the ones I remember seeing when I was little, however the one that was the big UGH of today that kinda had me forget about Animaniacs was *pardon my language* Katie-fucking-KaBoom! Now, my parents did not ban me from watching it, but because of Katie's transformations into whatever the hell she was furious about, scared me shitless so much it could give me nightmares. Due to that, my parents would just change the channel and my mind would be distracted by whatever was on. They did that whenever she appeared and the show was pretty much over when I would check back D,X

So yeah, I managed to get back into Animaniacs couple of years ago thanks to the gamecube game and have watched it non-stop since XD;; Even Katie-kaboom so that I can just say HA! CAN'T SCARE ME AWAY THIS TIME! >8D Therefore, because of that...I'm now obsessed XD;; Not as obsessive as I was when I joined DA, but tolerably obsessive...if that makes any sense? :XD:

Hehe, well of course I gotta throw his favorite toy in there! :la: That's pretty much the 'gun' of this parody...well, actually, to parody that, the 'gun' or 'guns' would actually be cannons, anvils, and mallets :lol:

Gah! Sorry for rambling there! I tend to do that when I'm excited XD;; Anyway, thank you so much! :thanks:

Yes, I was drawn to it again because of his "11 Naughtiest Animaniacs Moments" video. I was like, "Really? Naughty?..." And my curiosity got the better of me. I'm so glad it did. XD

And oh gosh, I remember loving Animaniacs but I was so young I didn't really know why. It was just funny to me. My favorite parts then were probably the simpler skits like the Slappy Squirrel ones (I distinctly remember enjoying their cover of Little Old Lady From Pasadena), but now my favorites are Rita and Runt (I am a big musical fan, and hey, BERNADETTE PETERS) and any of the skits with the Warners. I love them so much. :heart:

I was so obsessed when I got back into this show, I immediately bought all the DVDs and showed them to everybody. I still pretty much make daily references to Animaniacs in my daily speech, and my notebooks are littered with doodles of Yakko, who usually makes some sarcastic comment on whatever it is I'm learning. XD

That's okay! I love to rant about Animaniacs! ^_^

Oh my god, I was (and still am to this day) VERY naive when it came to innuendos, no matter if it was Animaniacs or something completely different XD;; So when I saw the top 11 Naughtiest moments, there were still some where I was confused on. I'm not kidding, I had to ask my friend why some of those jokes were so dirty. Like the Fingerprints? Yeah, totally flew over my head, until she told me what it was INSISTING :XD: And yeah...naughty moment indeed XD;;

Duuude, Slappy was awesome and still awesome to this day, along with Rita and Runt. Though, and I feel embarrassed to say this, I had to look up who Bernadette Peters was because I am TERRIBLE with names! I can remember a face, but never a name unless it's DRILLED into my head XD;; Anyway, then I remembered who she was, damn did she have a good set of lungs :la: And agree SO MUCH! My god, there are just days where I skip everyone else and just watch the episodes with the Warners :XD: I don't know, there's something really interesting about them that draws me in to watch. O3O

Pretty much the same. Got all the volumes, drew them all the time, bought anything that had any sort of relevance towards the show. I even made some soak screen shirts of them along with a ceramic Yakko mask! :iconx3v2plz: Though...because of me loving drama and coming up with bullshit ideas, I've actually been the opposite with making one of the Warners out of character XD;; Mostly because I REALLY get into their episodes and actually try to catch their actual emotions before they hide it and go into 'Special friend mode' :dummy:

I'm pretty naive when it comes to innuendos too, but I understood those. LOL. And coming to college does NOT help your naivety, believe you me. XD
And oh my goodness, "Who's On Stage" KILLS me. And Bernadette Peters is one of my heroes, just for being on Animaniacs. LOL. And I'm the same way about the Warners episodes! When I'm showing my friends the show, I usually only show them those, plus Rita and Runt and occasionally some of the others if I think they're exemplary enough. For example, I HAD to show my friends "Les Miseranimals," a parody of the musical Les Miserables, because my friends are really into that musical and the parody was BRILLIANT.
Same heeeere. Minus the homemade shirts and mask! I do have a shirt, though. It is gray and from Hot Topic, and has all three Warners on it. It makes me so happy. :heart:
And I'm totally into analyzing their characters too! "King Yakko" is my all-time favorite episode because it just gives one tiny teensy-weensy tidbit of their backstory-- apparently they are distantly related to royalty and all. XD Plus the whole thing is just awesome. I know all the songs. AND, it's half an hour of YAKKO. How could it get any better? (I'm totally a Yakko fangirl. LOL.) :love:

Oh god, I know it doesn't help in college XD;; I'm trying SO HARD to catch on what ever joke I run into, praying to god I don't look like an idiot in the process XD;;

:rofl: Getting the band's name all mixed up really was hilarious. What with THE Who, The Band, and The Yes Band *yeah, they were actual bands. I mostly know this because of my father XD;;*

Well, I can only remember her in a few things aside from Animaniacs. I think she was in that old Annie movie with Tim Curry, the Cinderella movie that starred Brandy (she was the step mother), and...I can't remember if I saw her in anything else. I actually did not know she was a Broadway star until I mentioned her name to a couple of friends, and watched the actual A! reviews from the DVDs were when I realized she was a singer. :O

Pretty much show only the Warners, and depending on the person, I'd put Slappy, Pinky & brain, Rita and Runt, Or Buttons and Mindy. The ones who would be right next to Warner episodes were usually Slappy and P & B. With Slappy, our favorite is the Bumbi episode :rofl: 'Bumbi's mom is...:cries:'

Wait, what?! They're selling them at Hot Topic now?! I didn't know that! Holy shit! I need to check them very often if that's the case XD;;

OH GOD YES! 8D Dear lord, all the stuff they pulled in that episode. :iconteheplz: And part of me thinks that the royalty thing was ether a beta version of Wakko's Wish or just their ego talking. Mostly from Yakko <_< It wouldn't surprise me if they were egotistical. :lol: Forget Animaniacs, they should be called Egomaniacs :XD: Who isn't though? Almost everyone I've bumped into is a HUGE Yakko fangirl (and boy), myself included, but I'm actually stuck between Yakko and Wakko. THEY'RE SO CUTE, I CAN'T CHOOSE :iconx3v2plz:

Actually, that's true. You don't see a lot of shows from the 90's nowadays (Not counting the ones on the Boomerang Channel), especially Animaniacs. It's a really good show, and educational in some of the episodes. All the new shows airing all over the place, meh. They just don't seem to have the same something cartoons from the 90's used to have. By the way, awesome picture.
